About Us

Established in 1996, Gig Harbor Little League is a non-profit organization serving hundreds of families each year. Gig Harbor Little League believes in the power of youth baseball and softball to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities. Our league offers a fun, supportive, instructional and competitive experience for boys and girls ages 4 through 16 residing in Gig Harbor.

Gig Harbor Little League is chartered by Little League International and is a member of Washington's District 2. It is managed by an annually-elected, all-volunteer Board of Directors that operates in accordance with the rules, regulations, and policies of Little League International.

Our league is funded by registration fees, fundraising, and sponsor donations and is operated solely through volunteer efforts of its General Membership and our community.

2025 Season Key Dates

December 1st, 2024 - Registration Opens

January 31, 2025 - Online Registration Closes on January 31st OR when a division or program has filled up, whichever comes first.

February 8th, 2025 - Player Evaluations for Coach/Player Pitch(AA), Player Pitch(AAA) and Majors divisions of Baseball & Softball

*NO EVALUATIONS WILL BE HELD FOR TEE BALL, QUICKBALL, COACH PITCH (A) BASEBALL OR COACH PITCH (A) SOFTBALL
*Upper Division Baseball and Upper Division Softball - Evaluations date and time TBD

February 12th - Make-up Player Evaluations
February 28th - Teams Announced
March 3rd - Tee Ball, Baseball and Softball Practices Begin
March 24th - Opening Day - Let the Games Begin!
May 4th - D2 Upper Division Baseball Games @ Cheney Stadium
May TBD - All Star Tryouts
May 17th - Tee Ball & Coach Pitch Baseball & Softball Jamboree
May 18th - Home Run Derby
May 31st - GHLL Day at the Rainiers Game
June 14th - End of Season Baseball & Softball City Championship Games
